Kelly Curtis’ wedding on 10th July was to be an informal and relaxed celebration shared with close friends and held at her sister Jamie Lee Curtis’ Santa Monica home.
It was a pleasure working with Jamie and Kelly as they really knew what they wanted – a colorful, fun, unfussy and yet perfect tented encampment. They chose orange, red and hot pink for the tents, with hand woven rugs and colorful cushions for those who wanted to sit casually on the floor.
We are always very happy to hear back from clients and Jamie Lee Curtis was nice enough to send some pictures of the wedding ceremony along with her kind note note.

Especially when the couple getting married do not have to meet traditional expectations, there is lots of room for making the wedding personal. They are free from having to compromise so as to try to please everybody, and can instead celebrate their union with ‘who they are’ as their main reference. It is a privilege to be part of such an important day in someone’s life and very satisfying when we can hit the bull’s eye and meet our client’s imagination and vision.
