WIPA - Escape to Malibu

It was great to be at the fabulous Church Estate Vineyards in Malibu on the 7th of July for WIPA’s ‘Escape to Malibu’ networking event. The enchanting venue, surrounded by well tended vineyards and gardens inspired by Monet’s garden in Giverny, was the perfect place to get the creativity flowing under Raj Tents' colorful luxury tent canopies.

Many thanks to Pauline Parry and Michelle Nowak of Good Gracious Events for the excellent lunch – also to mixologist Dan Smith who mixed up a wicked signature cocktail!  Particular thanks also to Sarah Kern Possick of Events of Distinction, Joanna Park of Floral Sense and Jeff Sigler of Form Décor - who brought in some cool lounge furniture that gave us stylish comfort for listening to the noteworthy talks given by WIPA’s speakers -  Rebecca Crumley of The Knot , who is one of the wedding industry’s leading experts in wedding photography and style;  journalist Allison Kornberg-Walch, whose blog Plan My Wedding made such a splash last year; Dana LaRue, founder and editor-in-chief of her award winning blog,  The Broke-Ass Bride; Katrina Razavi, founder and CEO of Marriage.com, the premier Q&A site for wedding planning and marriage.
