AmfAR’s 25th Anniversary Moroccan Chic celebration at Ken Fulk’s Studio
/It was great to be asked to provide the Moroccan themed tent for AmfAR’s ‘Violet Eyes in the Red City’ dinner at Ken Fulk’s Studio in San Francisco hosted by Andy Cohen of BravoTV. The evening started with an elaborate dinner for 100 guests prepared by renowned chef Gary Danko. The dinner featured a tribute to Elizabeth Taylor, special performances and a live auction. After dinner, Chaka Khan’s intimate performance really kicked of the dance party that spread over the four floors of Ken Fulk’s Studio. The ten-time Grammy winner and veritable Queen of Funk, Chaka Kahn was terrific!
There were fabulous treats to accompany the cocktails, with Yurgit Pura of Taste Catering, working some magic. The ground floor of the studio became a well fueled dance floor, with Samantha Ronson spinning the tunes.
Outside Raj Tents had Pergola Tents for the red carpet and bar, right next to the fun Kazbus, where guests could smoke a hookah from the top floor of the incredible converted school bus. A great night was had by all.
