Raj Tents Expertise Gives Destination Wedding Planning a Boost

Top USA destinations for couples getting married? San Francisco, Las Vegas, Orlando, Miami, and the Florida Keys.
At New Wedding Planet – like Raj Tents, a California company with a global mission – we like this trend. But when the time came to add destination wedding planning to our online wedding planner training course, we decided the folks in Florida wasn’t thinking big enough. Instead, we turned to an expert on designing unique environments for international events – Raj Tent’s Dominic Mitchell – to teach our members what makes a destination event anywhere in the world unforgettable.
We met Dominic at a popular wedding venue in the Bay Area during set-up for an elegant evening event. We were captivated by Raj Tents’ mastery of design and efficiency. We were charmed by Dominic’s British wit, cool head, and international style. We knew we’d found the teacher for our destination wedding planning segment – provided Dominic had the time and we could convince him that teaching destination wedding design to new wedding planners was worth it.
Dominic got what we were doing at once and agreed. Within weeks of our meeting, we’d shot hours of video, on location and in our studio, of Dominic at work, talking for the camera, and . . . well, being Dominic. Within a month we’d launched two video segments featuring Dominic – the first a careful consideration of destination wedding logistics and locations, the second an analysis of the elements of luxury event design applicable to any destination wedding, whether in a San Francisco hotel ballroom or on the beach at Cancun.
Working with Dominic was a pleasure. He’s smart, sophisticated, and knowledgeable.
